Wecome to 180 and The Net, the student ministries of Sayre Woods Bible Church. We're glad that you're checking us out, and welcome you to be a part of our community. Our goal is to be a place where you can explore and come to a deeper faith in Christ, find loving community, and join us as we share hope with the world. Winter Retreat

The Winter Retreat is one of the biggest highlights of the year. It's coming up quickly and it's time to plan and prepare. Here's what you need to know:

Where: Camp of the Woods, Speculator, NY

When: February 24-26. We'll be leaving at 10:00am on Friday the 24th. If you need a note for an excused absence from school due to religious activity, please talk to Carlton. We will be returning at approximately 7pm on Sunday the 26th.

Who: All students who are in 180 and The Net, the student ministries of SWBC. We'll also be joining up with a bunch of other churches in the area, some new and some we've partnered with for other events in the past (like Jackson Baptist and Lincroft).

Cost: $200 The cost includes our time and meals at Camp of the Woods, and transportation on the charter buses. You will want to remember to bring a few extra bucks for McDonald's at a rest stop on the way up to the camp (lunch Friday).

What to bring: The list of what to bring, along with additional rules that the camp asked us to pass along is in the first file listed below.

Due Dates: The Medical Release Form (the second file below), CotW Liability Forms (the last one listed) and the $50 deposit are due by Sunday, January 8th. Full payment is due Sunday, Feb. 12th. THESE DATES ARE FIRM!!! Please understand that there is also limited space available. We should have enough room for everyone, but if you want to guarantee that you get a spot on the retreat, hand in your forms and deposit as soon as possible! Spaces will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Here's some other info you'll want to know:
On Saturday during the retreat, we're going to be taking an offsite trip to go tubing. It's more intense tubing than we've done in the past at other retreat centers. If you like tubing, you'll love this! We will all be going to the mountain for this. Some people choose to tube, while others prefer to hang out in the lodge, have stuff to eat, talk, etc. If you do choose to go tubing, there is an additional cost around $5. If you're not tubing, there is no cost...unless you want to pick up some stuff from the snack shop (soda, pizza, burgers, etc.). Be prepared.

If you plan on using the gym floor, the camp requires NO BLACK SOLED SNEAKERS OR SHOES!
